I know you joined this course because you were ready for a change! You are just worn-out mentally from wanting to move on with your life socially, financially, and most likely even in your career. You know circumstances should be different! You know you have intelligence, maybe even super intelligence, you are a hard-worker and creative but you still feel stuck! You dream, even daydream perhaps of moving up the corporate ladder, becoming a business owner, or changing your career altogether. Perhaps your career brings you happiness, but you want to add that social component of caring for others. You want to start giving back to your community through volunteerism or philanthropy.

Yet, you keep asking, "Where do I start?"

Hello, I am Debra E. Johnson. I know what it feels like to want to be a different person because you are gut-sure that you have talent or skills, energy, creativity, and perseverance, to be making a 6 or 7-figure income! You even get accolades, encouraging words, or sometimes jeering remarks from family, friends, or co-workers regarding why are you where you are? Are you tired of hearing, "You seem really smart, why are you working here!"

I understand, I understand!

Stay here as I share with you my strategy that took me from just talking about being different to really being a different person.

I share with you what I did and what you will learn via PowerPoint slides, videos, text, and images! Whichever your learning style, you should be able to glean from this course. Included as well are a plethora of questions that you will have to answer. You'll have some soul-searching to do as you ask yourself and answer some tough questions. Be prepared that you might not like yourself (or me) as you get through some of the dark spaces in your mind or in your past! No worries though, stick around and you will come out on the other side to success!

A few get-to-know-me comments!

I am a born-again Christian who attends a lot, a lot of church! I may act a little churchy in my videos: that's my style. And I will push you to dig, unearth who you really are! I will attempt to be soothing, yet frequently I may sound a little rough at times! I am almost entrenched in the belief that you need more than "niceness" to get you really traversing into the life and onto the person you know you could be!

Finally as I close this section, I want you to say," I'm about to be different!"

Say it a little louder! "I am about to be different!"
